SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Look at themselves in a mirror

Climb onto a teacher’s lap for comfort

Smile when an adult plays peek-a-boo

 

LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Move arms to songs during circle time

Lean forward & open mouth when teacher is holding a spoonful of food

Points toward collage of family photos when mom or dad is sad

 

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:

Crawl through a tunnel

Pulls self to standing position at ballet bar

Point a finger to pop bubbles in the water table

 

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT:

Shake a bottle filled with clothespins

Make marks on a paper with a bingo marker

Put hands in a bin filled with cotton balls
