Little Big Steps Preschool & Child Care Early Learning Center, Inc., founded in 2012, is a family-owned center dedicated to serving families with children from the ages of 6 weeks through school-age. We are committed to lower child-to-teacher ratios and smaller class sizes to enable our qualified teachers to spend more time with each child, developing closer teacher/child bonds of affection, trust, and respect. Our daily classroom practice and programming objectives will be designed to support the program’s philosophy and to meet the needs of all children and families. Our goal is to supplement your parenting and support you in your role as a working parent. We encourage you to become an active participant in our school activities and programs we offer. If you have any questions, concerns or problems, feel free to talk to your child’s teacher, the Center Director or Owner. We want the best for you and your child. We welcome you to our family!

Philosophy
The program of Little Big Steps, Inc. has been developed to meet the physical, mental, social, emotional & creative needs of the individual child. The classroom environments encourage trust and independence. Our center promotes the development of the whole child through play. Activities in the classroom reflect our commitment to provide a developmentally appropriate experience for all children. We believe that children learn through active hands-on involvement with materials, equipment & activities. During active play, a child’s mind, body & emotions develop, and true learning takes place.
Our goal is to provide a stimulating, sensitive environment that supports the child’s social, emotional, physical & cognitive growth. Children will learn to form positive, caring & cooperative relationships by interacting with other children and our teachers. In doing this, the child will learn social skills that will last them a lifetime. Early Childhood play experiences affect learning and personal growth throughout life. Our main objective is to assist families in the task of providing a strong foundation for their child’s future development.
